Organic sugar from our sugar cane is used to naturally exfoliate the skin- made by our chef in our own kitchen blended with a powerful Anti-Oxidant formula by Africology to assist the skin in its youthfulness, followed by a sensory celebration of the senses. Our massage is performed with deeply hydrating coconut butter, blended with pure frangipani flower extracts. The Spa Recognition Awards, reflects the Spa Industry’s opinion and acknowledge these people in their individual categories: The Spa Ambassador Award, The Spa Humanitarian Award, The Spa Visionary Award and NEW this year and finally The Spa Management Excellence Award.

We are very proud to announce that our very own Renchia Droganis is nominated for a second time. As she won this award in 2007, this is an indication of the unique approach and impact Renchia takes in the beauty sector. Her truly inspiring nature really leaves a mark on everyone she meets and can’t help but be contagious. Renchia started her career as a life coach and holistic healer for leading companies, and also worked together with state prosecutors to help empower victims to find the mental strength to testify in court. After she trained as a Reiki master and aromatherapist, she incorporated homemade, bespoke skincare products that contain essential oils in her therapies, which were a huge hit with her clients. When a spa approached her to make a body wrap, she took on the challenge and launched Africology, which has grown steadily since its beginnings in 2001. The Africology range is completely chemical-free and can be found in some of the most luxurious spas around the world. Renchia has got four grown-up children and all of them are involved in the business, which makes Africology a true family business.

Shaving cream

Hydrating Cleansing Gel
Designed to cleanse without drying the skin, this gel contains quillaja extract and soapwort, which are natural and mild cleansing and foaming agents. Reactive skin is usually the result of the mind seeking protection, hence increased oil production. By not stripping the skin of its natural oil, the gel cleanses and gently rebalances. Seaweed extract maintains skin health while smoothing and moisturising. The skin is firmed and stimulated.
